Dr. Lee fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a doctor, and then stepped away from active practice to raise her 3 children, who are now all married and off successfully adulting. She has been married to her husband, Jonathan, for 34 years and are enjoying all the benefits of the empty nester life- including fulfilling her most recent dream of jumping back into healthcare.
Drawing from her experience in the clinical setting, and her love of seeing people's lives improve under her care, she founded Wasatch Healthcare Group and opened their first clinic in Provo, Utah. She is on a mission to help anyone who suffers from the pain and debilitating symptoms of neuropathy.
Dr. Lee published her first book in December of 2021 about another topic she is deeply passionate about- parenting. Becoming a Rock Star Parent: A New Approach to Build Your Confidence, Raise Happier Families, and Really ROCK the Parenting Gig. Described as the “parenting how-to manual you wish your kids came with,” it instantly earned the rank of #1 New Release in the categories of Parenting Toddlers, Family Health, and Child Discipline.
In 2024, she felt the nudge to start a faith-based podcast with a close friend, and in June of that year, The Dents In My Armor dropped its debut episode. Her podcast is aimed at creating a community of Latter-day Saint women who find the joy that comes from living safely within their covenants.
When Dr. Lee isn't in the clinic or the recording studio, you can find her dreaming of ways to get to the closest beach, binging medical dramas, reading left-brain science-y stuff, and sending obnoxious memes to her kids on the family text thread.
